INTRODUCTION
Praise
GOD Almighty who has devoted an abundance of grace and His gift to us, and do
not forget we would like to thank AMERICAN CORNER, and all those who have
helped either financial or moral so we were able to implement the agenda
"English Debate SEMINAR". Although the implementation of this agenda
are many shortcomings, but we have tried as much as possible. As a result of
this agenda is still far from perfection, because the whole committee ordinary
humans make mistakes and forgetfulness.
Agenda seminar this debate the theme "Analysis
is the Right for Every People", is intended to introduce the debate and
mechanisms to all students, particularly those with an interest in the English
language debate. In addition it is expected that the seminar participants also
know and be able to open their minds to the issue of both the issues and
problems around them and in their lives. So as to contribute to the settlement,
separation, or other things more wisely.

PURPOSE OF ACTIVITY
Introducing debate as well as mechanisms to
students debate in St. Louis.
Foster self-confidence of the participants in
expressing arguments.
It makes students more critical.
Fostering a sense of tolerance and open minded
Developing thinking various sides of an issue.

D. COMPOSITION OF THE COMMITTEE
Seminar Committee Debate 2012 are all members Speaking English Department Student Activity Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta with the composition of the committee attach
E. RESULT OF EVENTS
At the Seminar this debate there are some activities that generated such as:
1. Playback video footage English debate from Monash University, Oxford University, Sydney University.
2. Giving the material provided by the debater-powerful debater like: Zulkamal Hidayat Zakaria S.IP, Sari Mutiara Aisha S. IP, and Indra.
3. Debate Exhibition played by the Debaters Gunadarma University who will represent St. Louis in IVED 2013:
1. Asep Suryana
2. Arif Hidayat Subakti
3. M. Dedy Yanuar
4. Arlita Widiastuti
5. Mutya Anisa R
6. Bimo Satryo
Group discussions were divided into 3 groups and guided by the Debaters who are having exhibits that there is an interaction of participants and Debaters to exchange information, experiences, opinions, and others that attract participants to be able to argue well.
F. FINANCIAL
The reports use the attached budget.
H. Problematics
- Lack of Adequate Resources Committee .
- Lack of coordination antarpanitia .
- Lack of preparation and registration room .
- Opening schedule and registration booth location is uncertain .
- The lack of preparation of the concept of the show at some point during the event .
I. RECOMMENDATIONS
- Strengthen relationships antarpanitia .
- More finalize the concept before , during , and after the event .
- Multiply the preparation of the technical preparations to non - technical .
- More often coordination before , during and after the event .
J. CLOSING
Thus Accountability Report English Debate Event Seminar " Analysis is the Right For Every People" our interchanges. Given these activities can improve the quality of students studying in St. Louis in St. Louis and also can use it in order to achieve a life that is blessed by Allah SWT .
